My Culture

Please think about your own culture. Where does your family come from? What is important or special to you and your family? What language do you speak?
On your blog, please tell us about your culture.

This is my pepeha. This is my culture NZ / Maori.

  3. Kia ora Tanner,

How are you doing today? I hope you're enjoying your holidays so far!

You've done an awesome job explaining your culture and including an image to make your post extra eye-catching. All your posts have been very creative which is awesome to see!

Did you make everything in the picture, Tanner? I really like how different aspects of the picture represent different parts of your pepeha, like how the bowl is higher, so it represents your maunga, and how you've made korus to represent everyone in your family. That is very creative!

What did you use to make the korus, awa and waka? Is it play-doh or something different?

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your creative activities! Keep up the great work :)

    Ngā mihi,
    Tayla

  4. Hi Tayla, Yes I used home made playdoh that my mum made. I had fun doing this one and my mum and my baby sisters helped too.
