At school this year I studied Kauri die back. Kauri die back is a deadly disease for trees. Many trees have died from Kauri die back. We need to save the trees. Already DOC are making special brushes to clean your feet when you go in to see the Tane Mahuta. Here is a photo of me and my dad in front of Tane Mahuta when I was 3. I went there again last year but I can't find the photos.
Kia ora Tanner!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you have been busy doing your activities yesterday afternoon. I love starting my day by seeing that you and other learners are actively blogging :)
I can see that you know a lot of information about Kauri Dieback which is so important in knowing how to protect our beautiful Kauri trees, so thank you for sharing these facts!
How about Tāne Mahuta? Be sure to tell us why you do (or do not) want to visit this endemic tree.
P.s Be sure to make your slides on Google drive public so we can see the awesome work you have produced! It is currently saying that we ‘need permission’ to see your content :( Do you need help in attaching your files and making them public?
Keep up the exciting work Tanner!
Cheers,
Georgia E
