Hi,
Yes I think logging should be allowed in NZ.
Reason 1 is because we need houses so people aren't homeless. We can use wood to make tables, chairs, couches, TV cabinets and lots of other furniture and even some boats.
Reason 2 is we need paper for lots of things like books, cards, drawing pads.

Kia Ora Tanner,
ReplyDeleteI’m Dani, I’m a blog commenter in the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. It is great to see that you are back blogging again this year! What kind of cake did you mum make you this year for your birthday? This year one of my friends make me a banana cake with coffee icing and it tasted amazing!
I think you are right, that we definitely need to getting logging in New Zealand. But there is ways that the logging industry can look after the trees that we have. A way could be creating sustainable forests using trees that don’t take long to mature. That way the logging crews can rotate process one forest area then plant it again so they can log it again in five years. Rather than processing many different areas, they can process the same areas over and over.
Keep up the awesome mahi, I can’t wait to read more of your posts in 2019!
Blog ya later,
Dani
Hi Dani,
ReplyDeleteThat is good ideas about logging. Me and Mum have been talking about it.
This year I had a joint Halloween birthday party with my little sister Ella. It was her 2nd birthday and my 8th birthday so mum made a big cake. I will post it to my blog.
