I really liked this poem but I had to ask my Mum to help me with some words like poppies because I didn't know what they were. When Mum told me about ANZACs and soldiers this poem made me feel sad.
Kia Ora Tanner, I hope you and your whanau are nice and warm inside in this terrible weather! That’s awesome that you went and asked your mum for help, our parents know so much and it’s great when they get involved in our learning! Have you ever been to an ANZAC day service? When I was younger we always went to the dawn service really early in the morning! Keep up the great work! -Dani
Oh no! I hope, it wasn't too much to clean up. I know at my family's farm in Okaihau, they had a few big branches come down over the driveway too. I hope this week has better weather!

Hi Dani,
ReplyDeleteIt is very wet at my house and we even have branches on our driveway. I haven't been to an ANZAC Day service but maybe I will this year.
