It was about a badger that was too tidy.
I chose to design something to blow leaves. I also wrote an apology letter to the forest animals from Badger.
Last week I started making a tractor then I wrote a story about it and then I chose to do another chapter this is the second chapter.
Because we were using ‘Insects’ as a topic this week for reading and writing we created some works of art based on insects also. We had to make them out of any materials we could find at home. I chose to use lego.

Today me and my sister, Piper baked a chocolate cake.
First, we put the dry ingredients in the bowl.
Next, we put the wet ingredients in the bowl.
Then we mixed it together and baked it at 160 degrees for 55 minutes.
Then we made the icing as you can see Piper ate the leftovers.

We are learning to advertise ourselves positively online by sharing on our blog. For this task we had to create a poster about ourself and the different things that are most important to us.
Today we wrote a piece of writing about the weather. We got to choose whatever type we wanted. I chose to write about rain. Here is my work:
On Friday we done lots of Matariki activities like kite making, coding, Ki o rahi, Maori games and cooking. I made kawakawa cookies and fried bread. I also played Maori games.
On 22 June 2021 I got to go on a two day trip to Auckland to take part in the Grip
Leadership Conference.
Mrs Edwards, Mrs B and Shiah’s mum, Nardea were our drivers. We had a great
time and the conference was really interesting.
In Week 8, Term 2 our school librarian, Mrs C, retired. On her last day, we put on a Book Character Parade. We dressed up in costumes like book characters and then we went on a parade through the Daycare Centre next to the school, past the shops in the village, along Hob son St and back up Tennyson St to the school.
I chose to dress up as something wacky.
